Guyana’s and Suriname’s Hidden Energy: The Kitchen Map of GSGL

Golden Lane
Guyana Suriname Basin.
“ Michelin 4-Stars Kitchen Map of GSGL ”.

Sitting in a satellite to chase fossil fuels…
While sniffing around in the Michelin subsurface kitchen.

Similar to those cute dogs that sniff for cocaine on Schiphol.
Especially when you arrive, step out after a long 9 hour KLM flight.
After a most pleasant, always-to-soon-ending and cute holiday, even if it lasted 2 month.
Returning from your emerald-green paradise in de Caribbean.
Curaçao…

Question?

Would you use this precious, colorful and bold map to explore for hydrocarbons in GSGL?

With all those “ subsurface fossil fuels migration riversystems and most fortunately, stippled lines “.

(…By the way…
much migration, nowadays, everywhere, half of this globe is migrating…and transitioning, even the energy ecosystem…
From super dirty to clean, lean, green and then?
Broke…

Geophysicists, as ever, migrate all and everything, to move it back to the right, perceived as “really true “ place.
Till they drill a bone and bone dry well, on this right and very true place and depth…

Petroleum geologists first model and then migrate all and every drop of oil to fill their perceived reservoirs…
In nearly all of those some 600 sedimentary basins on this still…super green globe.

And?
The Bar-tailed Godwit has one of the longest migration records, which does not include even one stopover of up to 7500 km or 4660 miles.
It resides in Alaska but migrates to New Zealand and Australia in the winter.

And?
Even my own grandparents migrated from China mainland, Malik in Guanzhou area, during the last Qing Dynasty, to explore the world outside the Great Chinese Wall.
Without a single stopover?

Fortunately in 1882, the Chinese Exclusion Act, was passed by Congress and signed by President Chester A. Arthur.
This act provided an absolute 10-year ban on Chinese immigrating to the United States.

…Luckily they did not had to travel and walk first, on their chinese bare feet, all the way to Tijuana.
To be deported back to…Malik).

If Yes, why?
If No, why not?
Thank you so much for your most valuable idea and answer.

In our fortunately oh so cozy, lovely, lovesome and above all, democratic world of geology?
Any answer has a voice and is valid…
Enjoy.

Which way are you going…Billy?
To get the Big Bang for Your Green Bucks…

P.S.
Sure, sharp, very sharp brains and eyes…
The overlaid Kitchen map misfits just a bit with the underlying basemap.
But this is the best fit I could make…
Took me hours to squeeze, massage, rotate, extend, compress etc. …to fit.
Did not want well Ranger-1 to relocate to the swimming pool of beautiful Hilton, in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Anyway, never mind.
Has never been this Subsurface Navigator.
That Mr & Mrs ACT Petroleum consulted during their bold, off the beaten track voyages…
To Golden Lane.
So.
What the h**k.
